Green Smoothie

On my quest to find more energy, I found the living waters!  I have never felt so energized, and I owe it all to my daily green smoothie!  Oh, and my healthy kids love them, too!  Don't worry, these work great with your regular old blender. In the words of my husband "It tastes much better then it sounds!"


My basic recipe:
 2 cups cold water
4-5 cups of spinach
1 large apple
1 banana

First blend the water and spinach together, then add the sliced apple and banana.  Blend well, and enjoy!

1cup = 50 calories

Get creative and add different fruits or vegetables to your smoothie!  Pineapple, grapes, berries, pears, kale, and broccoli are all delicous. I ususally try to keep my fruit to 2 cups (less sugar and lower in calories.)
