Banana Pancakes

If you like banana bread, you will love these pancakes!  My kids think they are getting dessert for breakfast whenever I make these.


1 1/2 cups of milk (may use rice milk or soy milk)
1 1/3 cup wheat berries
1/4 cup ground flax seed
2 ripe bananas
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until all of the wheat is milled (about 4 minutes, depending on how strong your bender is)  If the batter becomes too thick and will not blend, add more milk.

Cook on a hot griddle sprayed with cooking oil.  Flip the pancakes over when they have cooked half way.

Serve with strawberry syrup, whipped cream, and fresh berries.
