Using Beans as a Substitution

To help cut down the fat and cholesterol in your favorite baked recipes, try substituting half or all of your fat with beans.  Not only will you recipes contain less calories and more protein and fiber, but they will come out tasting moist and delicious!

Using Beans as a Substitution:

1 TBS cooked whole beans= 1 TBS butter
1 TBS pureed beans= 1 TBS oil
